Product Description

Whether you're a small business owner, an event organiser, or a marketing professional, postcard printing offers unique benefits that help you stand out and connect with your audience in style. Here’s what makes postcards such an effective tool:

Cost-Effective Marketing: Postcards are an affordable way to promote your business or event without compromising on quality. With low production and delivery costs, they’re an accessible option for businesses large and small. Whether you're printing 50 or 5,000, postcards help you maximise your budget while still making an impact.

Tangible and Memorable: Unlike digital ads that your audience may scroll past or delete, postcards are physical, making them harder to ignore. People can hold them, pin them on a noticeboard, or even display them on their fridge. It’s this tactile nature that makes postcards more personal and memorable in a world dominated by digital noise.

Striking Visual Appeal: With the right design, postcards grab attention instantly. Their compact size encourages concise, impactful content paired with sharp visuals. Add eye-catching colours, images, or finishes, and you’ll have a tool that attracts attention and inspires engagement.

Perfect for Building Local Presence: If you’re trying to reach a local audience, nothing beats postcards for spreading the word fast. They’re brilliant for advertising store openings, upcoming events, or special offers right in your community. Plus, they feel personal, creating a stronger connection with local recipients.

Understanding different paper types

Silk: Silk coated paper has a smooth, silky finish. It is neither as glossy as gloss-coated paper nor as matte as uncoated paper, offering a balance between the two. This paper type undergoes a coating process that enhances its texture and visual appeal.  Writing on silk-coated paper with regular pens can be difficult as the coating may resist ink absorption.

Coated 1 side (Traditional postcard board): We use Invercote G as out go to postcard board. It is a triple coated, solid bleached board (SBS) perfect for graphical products and prestige packaging with an exceptionally smooth, silky surface. Invercote G faithfully reproduces the most sophisticated printed images.  The reverse side has a lick coating, allowing good colour reproduction and can be written on. Both sides are finished to a matt level.

Uncoated: Uncoated paper has no surface coating, giving it a natural, more textured feel. It is widely used for everyday printing tasks, stationery, and books, where a more organic or traditional look is preferred. Uncoated paper is excellent for writing with any pen or pencil, as it absorbs ink well.
